Night of Holiday Magic in North Richland Hills

Why wait to jump into the thick of holiday festivities?  Get started this Saturday, December 4, from 4-8 pm at NRH2O in North Richland Hills.  The Night of Holiday Magic has an impressive list of activities:

Winter scenes (great for getting that perfect family holiday picture)

Snow tubing hill!

Photos with Santa

Tree lighting

Admission and parking are free.  Train rides are $1, the snow tubing hill is $2, the children’s holiday village is $3 (for 12 crafts), and prices vary for photos with Santa.  Additionally, food and beverages will be for sale, as well as gifts in the holiday market.

Junior League of Arlington’s 28th Annual Holiday Magic

It’s that time of year again!  Head out to Arlington Convention Center to get a jump-start on your holiday shopping – or get all your shopping done – at the Junior League of Arlington’s 28th Annual Holiday Magic.  It’s an entire weekend filled with parties, shopping, and food!


Holiday Gift Market
Friday, November 5th, 12 noon – 7 pm
Saturday, November 6th, 10 am – 6 pm
Sunday, November 7th, 11 am – 5 pm

Ladies Fashion Show and Luncheon: “Stiletto State of Mind”
Friday, November 5th
Private Shopping 9 am – 11 am
Fashion Show 11:30 am – 1:30 pm

Holiday Happy Hour
Friday, November 5th
5 pm – 7 pm

Children’s Party: “Breakfast with Santa”
Saturday, November 6th
10 am – 12 noon

Trek or Treat 5K Run and Walk

Come join the fun for the first annual Trek or Treat 5K Run & Walk at Watters Creek in Allen on Saturday, October 30, benefiting the Allen Parks Foundation.  Halloween-related activities following the race include hayrides, a magic show, a petting zoo, and trick-or-treating.

Watters Creek at Montgomery Farm is located at U.S. 75 and Bethany Drive in Allen, Texas.  Packet pick-up and race registration begins at 7 am, and the day-long festivities conclude with an outdoor movie at 6:30 pm.
