About Us

Welcome to morethanmothers.com, a place where families can come for information, a funny story or two, parenting tips, and great ideas for family-friendly activities.

We are mothers first, but we are all more than mothers!  We are wives, friends, sisters, maids, workers, philosophers, wanderers, chauffeurs, writers, dreamers, and educators.  We want you to benefit from our experiences—the triumphs and terrors, the awesome-mom-days and misadventures.

We love feedback! Ask us questions, share a great new recipe or craft idea, and check out our posts.  And, please, tell us how we’re doing.

Thanks for stopping by morethanmothers.com. With our frequent updates and personal perspectives, we hope you’ll make us part of your week!

Talk to you soon,

Jen, Lisa, & Lori

Hi, nice to meet you !

I enjoy actually “reading” your blogs. We turned off the TV much of Saturday and Sunday and my 7-year-old learned how to do dishes and read books for more than an hour!

I noticed that you have an events page — but it looks like it needs more current content! The Dallas Zoo has enough events this fall to keep it full! A list follows. You might like to assign the ExxonMobil Science Day and EFS Literacy Day events to the Homeschool page. Please let me know if you have any questions, want photos, or even if one of your bloggers wants to attend and talk about the event afterward.

    Thanks,
