Take a Hike!

23 Mar

Come to the Heard Museum in McKinney on Saturday, March 26 from 9 am to noon for a hike to support The Heard, the Volunteer McKinney Center, and dozens of other nonprofit organizations.  .5, 1, and 1.5 mile trails are available (only the .5 mile trail is jogging stroller friendly).  The hike will take place rain or shine!

Hikers get a free continental breakfast and giveaways (while supplies last), and can enjoy meeting some of the Heard animals, see canoe/kayak demonstrations, visit with representatives from numerous Collin County nonprofits, and win door prizes.  Kids will have the opportunity to play—get their face painted, jump in the bounce house, see the BUGS! exhibit, and children ages seven and younger can participate in an Easter egg hunt.

Tickets are $20 per adult and $5 for children ages 3-17 (2 and under are free).  A special family rate of $40 is available for those registering two adults and up to four children.  Donate a portion of your ticket price ($10 of adult tickets and $3 of kids’ tickets) to the organization of your choice!
