Empty Bowls 2011

15 Feb

From the Tarrant Area Food Bank website, www.tafb.org:

Empty Bowls—An Artful Taste to End Hunger, attracts 2,000 guests who select keepsakes from among 2,500 handcrafted bowls by North Texas artisans, bid in a silent auction for original art, and sample soups and desserts by some of Fort Worth’s finest chefs.

Join us on Friday, February 18, 2011 in the historic Will Rogers Memorial Center’s Amon G. Carter Exhibit Hall WEST Room (new room, doubling the size from previous years).

A sampling of the restaurants and catering companies that are donating the soups and desserts for Empty Bowls 2011 is at Empty Bowls Luncheon Fare.

Peruse the description of silent auction items at Empty Bowls Silent Auction 2011.

All tickets are sold in advance only. Reservations for 2011 are now open online and by phone or by mail.  Individual ticket prices are $40, or $125 for an Individual Sponsor.

To phone in reservations or to ask for a mail-in form, call 817-332-9177, ext. 110.
