Autumn at the Arboretum

The Dallas Arboretum presents Autumn at the Arboretum, featuring The Great Pumpkin Festival, from September 18 through November 14.  Over 150,000 fall flowers will be on display.  Kids can enjoy the Storybook Pumpkin Village, with life-size houses made completely from pumpkins!  There will also be a hay bale maze and a pumpkin patch where pumpkins can be purchased.

From September 20 through November 9, Mommy & Me Mondays and Tiny Tot Tuesdays will be held in the Pecan Grove:

Petting zoo, 10am-2pm

Arts and crafts, 10am-2pm

Face painting, 10am-1pm (line closes at 1pm)

Kindermusik, 12-12:30pm

Strollerfit, TUESDAYS ONLY, 10:30am-11:30am

On Monday, October 11, the Columbus Day Children’s Concert will feature Eddie Coker on the Martin Rutchik Concert Stage, from 11am-12pm and 2pm-3pm.

Family Fun Weekend will be held on Saturday, October 30 & Sunday, October 31:

Children’s Magician in the Pecan Grove, Saturday 12-4pm & Sunday 1-4pm

Petting Zoo in the Pecan Grove, Saturday 12-4pm & Sunday 1-4pm

Trick-or-Treating, Saturday & Sunday 11am-3pm

      I cannot wait to go! Then again, neither can Chip. This is one place both kids enjoy as much as I do!!
